2018 ‘Don’t Mess with Texas’ Scholarship Contest Winners Announced

Congratulations to three high school seniors selected as winners in the 2018 “Don’t mess with Texas” scholarship contest. Dalton Shaw of W.W. Samuell High School in Dallas was chosen as the grand prize winner and received a $6,000 scholarship. Texas awards millions for community mental health

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is awarding up to $15 million in grant funds to 31 governmental entities and nonprofit organizations located across the state to provide mental health services to communities.
