San Antonio Museum of Art seeks a Database Manager to work closely with the Chief Development Officer and the Development Department in organizing and integrating all donor information related to the organization.
The Database Manager will play a crucial role in effectively managing and implementing a comprehensive database (Raiser’s Edge) that will serve the needs of the Executive Director and the Development, Marketing, Education and Finance departments in the Museum. Responsibilities will include maintaining Raiser’s Edge, developing and maintaining a comprehensive program for data management and all related databases, managing departmental reports, train other users in the database and leading prospect and donor research to advance the Museum’s mission.
Qualifications may include a Bachelor’s Degree, and experience and advanced knowlede of Raiser’s Edge. Must work effectively and communicate clearly and professionally with staff, public, volunteers and professional contacts. Experience or familiarity in development or fundraising, preferably for a non-profit, a museum, a tourism or service organization, or an arts and cultural organization is preferred. Ideal candidate will also have excellent organizational, written, and report writing skills. Ideal candidate must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines; ability to work effectively in a fast paced, multitasking environment is required. Ideal candidate should have advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software applications.
