Spring break is just around the corner. Immerse the young writer in your house in a camp with poetry, prose, and creative self-expression at The Writer’s Garret!
This week-long day camp for kids 8-12 includes poetry with Fatima-Ayan Malika Hirsi, Dallas’s typewriter-wielding sidewalk poet, and zine-making led by poet and maker extraordinaire Lisa Huffaker. Over the five day camp, attendees create their own zine while learning creative writing, collaging, printmaking, and bookbinding.
