The Children’s Summit is an annual event hosted by CHILDREN AT RISK that focuses on the major issues faced by children each year. The last few months have brought unprecedented change to the lives of Texas children and their families. As unemployment rises, access to learning falls, and a myriad of other new challenges tip the scales towards inequity, advocates and child-serving organizations are transforming the way they serve children most in need. This year’s event, “Tipping Points and Transformations”, will focus on the future of the whole child after the coronavirus pandemic and the ways we can transform the child-serving system at large.
