Meet Dorian R. Williams
Welcome our new Learning and Development Manager

Dorian Williams, Ph.D., was born and raised in San Antonio, and is a graduate of Judson High School, where he was an all-state football and track standout.  After a short collegiate track career at UTSA, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and later received his commission as the Air Force’s first African American Aerospace Physiologist. He went on to become a highly decorated aviator who flew over 200 combat missions. He is now proudly Lt. Col Dorian R. Williams, Sr. retired. William has a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics and holds multiple master’s degrees in Education, Theology, and Aeronautical Science as well as a Doctorate Degree in Divinity.

Williams holds active memberships in the American Society of Training and Development, the Project Management Institute, and holds certifications in both Project Management and Adult Learning. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Teach for America, Inc. and is an adjunct professor for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Williams is also the CEO/founder of ReachSA, a nonprofit aiming to bridge San Antonio’s equity gap.

In his spare time, Williams serves his community as a highly sought-after track and field coach who trains and helps underserved athletes obtain scholarships and manage the NCAA recruiting process. In 10 years, Coach Williams has helped over 50 track athletes and their families obtain track and field scholarships. 

Williams’ Junior High sweetheart (Erika) and now wife of 24 years, is a senior manager and is also a consultant for small business startups. Their son is a graduate of Texas Tech University, where he was an all-American track athlete and now works for ESPN in Los Angeles. Their daughter is a member of the national honor society, is a straight-A student, and an all-state track athlete who will attend University of North Texas on a track scholarship in the fall.
