IEAS Animal Update: Titan and Kimberly

International Exotic Animal Sanctuary

Animal Update Featuring
Titan and Kimberly

Titan, a former circus tiger has called IEAS home since 2011. The 13 year old spent time with a traveling circus until he stopped listening to his trainer. As the circus passed through town, we received a call that they no longer wanted him. The circus was leaving later that same day, so we had to very quickly retrieve him and ensure we had an habitat ready for him.
Titan has enjoyed his time at IEAS. His favorite thing to do is roll his 60 pound boomer ball up his hill, just to smack it back down. Titan’s favorite food is chicken. We recently received a donation of whole 5 pound chickens from Costco which Titan is loving.

Kimberly arrived at IEAS with her sister Karen in 2009. They were both declawed pets, relinquished when they got to be too much for their owners. Kim has since enjoyed her large habitat on the south side of the sanctuary.
This time of year Kim’s habitat is mostly in the shade every morning. You can find her in a basking in small patch of sunlight right after feeding, soaking up the rays similar to a domestic house cat sitting in a window.

Kim finding that little bit of morning sun in her enclosure.
