New funding opportunity: Policy Fellow and Peer Policy Fellow Grants

Hogg Foundation
Proposals Due March 2, 2018
We know the needs and voices of Texans living with mental illness have a greater impact on policymaking when organizations effectively inform mental health policy. Launched in 2010, the foundation’s Policy Fellow and Peer Policy Fellow Program builds organizations’ capacity to advance mental health policy in Texas, cultivates expertise among policy-influencers, and raises the consumer voice in mental health policy development and implementation.
The foundation will award up to ten nonprofits with a two-year grant to employ a fellow (a recent master’s degree recipient, or an individual with lived experience of mental health and/or substance use conditions).
Grantees will be notified in April and the grant will begin on July 1, 2018.
