A new funding opportunity – $2M FOR COLLABORATIVE APPROACHES TO WELL-BEING IN RURAL COMMUNITIES

Hogg Foundation

We believe mental health is not solely an individual responsibility, but also a product of community conditions, and the potential for change is greater when we focus our efforts on historically excluded or underserved populations.

To this end, we invite eligible organizations to submit a letter of interest for our new Collaborative Approaches to Well-Being in Rural Communities project, which will help Texas communities of 250,000 people or less inclusively and collaboratively support resilience, mental health and well-being.

The foundation will award up to five, three-year grants totaling $2 million (not to exceed $400,000 per award) to support each grantee in developing or building on a community collaborative to assess, plan and implement strategies to become a mentally healthier community.

Letters of Interest Due March 7, 2018
