Texas
Nonprofits - YOU are the stars and
the stripes...and the Red,
the White and the Blue...
We were doing our
daily look see - find - research for grants
and grant opportunities and found no less
that 200 articles online about how devastated
the nonprofit sector is...and how we will
have such a tough time recovering...wah wha
wha. Stop it now! Stop the press printing
quotes from the book of doomsday. Nonprofits
are amazing... resiliant.... creative... we
are survivors! Look and lean to the good and
see what happens. Start generating positive
news... positive reinforcement for your colleagues...
hopeful words of encouragement. We will make
it - we have to make it. No one does what
we do...and it all comes from our hearts.
We
salute all Texas Nonprofits on this eve of
July 4th, 2009!!
Alice
and Jackie :-)

Adopt
a pet from SARA Society for Animal Rescue
and Adoption

Meet Holly. She
is such a little lady - she crosses her paws.
She’s about three years old, spayed
female hound mix. Very sweet, but a little
shy at first. Loves to play in the sprinkler,
but scared of thunderstorms! Good with children,
cats, and other pets. Would make a great companion
for a loving home.
