Resource Associates S.O.S Grant Writing Workshops are not the kind of training where you sit and listen passively to a boring speaker. Our training is full of energy and it is interactive - allowing you as the participant to take part in a variety of activities where you will develop a deep understanding about grants and as you build the valuable skill of grant proposal writing. We guarantee that you have never experienced anything like it. You will walk out of our doors, on the evening of your last day of training, not only prepared to write award winning grant proposals, but you will have also gained valuable friendships and connections with fellow professionals (as well as your trainer who will continue to assist you in growing your proposal writing skills after the training is completed).
This training will be conducted by Pam Fite, former deputy superintendent of Mt. Pleasant I.S.D., and other experienced professional grant writers who have a very high award rate in state, federal and foundation grants. For the first time in East Texas and Northwestern New Mexico, schools, churches and other community non-profit organizations have the opportunity to attend a quality training that will help them learn the process of writing winning proposals. The training will be fun, engaging and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for those interested in helping their organization apply for a variety of grants. Grant writing can also become a marketable and valuable skill.
Each participant will receive a manual filled with successful strategies and funded samples proposals. For 6 months following the training, each participant will receive a free technical review of a grant proposal and automated grant alerts of state, foundation, and federal funding opportunities profiled to the needs of their organization.
Registration
Registration is $475 for the Hughes Springs, Tx. 3-day training and $299 for the Farmington, N.M. 2-day Training. Registration also includes lunch each day, snacks, the binder full of materials and the Grant Expert's Resource CD. Each year, there are over $450 billion given away in grant funds.
