Texasnonprofits is wonderful! TXNP.org is a one-stop, surf-free shopping place for fresh, comprehensive and accurate information on Texas Foundations! Thank you fo filling a great need for Texas nonprofits.
I also want to thank Jackie Beretta for coming to Collin County to share her words of wisdom and experiences in working with foundations with our nonprofit agencies. website saves me from numerous trips to research in downtown
Houston where road construction is king. (I'd rather have
a tooth pulled than lose my membership to TXNP!) Texasnonprofits.org
is about resources, communication and sharing. The website
brings together in one place a wealth of information benefiting
nonprofit organizations, foundations, and people who are interested
in volunteerism and philanthropy. Jackie Beretta and her staff
are using the power of technology to provide comprehensive
and up to date information in an efficient and cost effective
format. The search function available to members helps me
quickly identify foundations in Texas that have an expressed
interest in our mission. The availability of current research
data online saves time and provides valuable information about
potential donors. As the only development person in a small
organization, texasnonprofits.org is my new best friend! Love
your newsletter and the ease of readability of your articles.
Was able to make 3 donations via your wish list postings. Because we are on the other side of the fence and frequently submit grant requests to other foundations to support programs at our university, we applaud the work you are doing to help Texas nonprofits streamline their research process. I agree with your assessment that much staff/consulting time is spent searching for grant funds, and I plan to share information about Texasnonprofits.org with our staff researcher. - David Shrader, Vice President of Developement, University of North Texas WOW! A beautiful job on this new site-You should be very proud. Best wishes, - Paul Scannell, The Dini Partners |
This
foundation resource (and donor resource) gives more expansive

philanthropic resources around the state. There are private

on the national non-profit databases. Thank
you so much for the great article you did on Kids Exchange

Keep up the good work. - Barbara Andrews, CEO VNA and Hospice of South Texas I actually JUST signed up for your email newsletter at the beginning of the week. I found it very helpful and extremely easy to navigate. I am a grantwriter and I am currently volunteering my services to two organizations…. Having the ability to look through your site recently confirmed the quality of your site's information. … I look forward to becoming a member and learning more about the services you and your team offer. - Sherry Durdin There is so much information out there about foundations that is wrong. Thanks for working to present valid information to funders. - Mimi Minkoff, Swalm Foundation Researching the Internet for grant opportunities can be frustrating. In my grant opportunities class I had students bring up the Internet and start looking for grants. TXNP is Super-Throw-Down, User Friendly. And I was pleasantly surprised at the price! Grant opportunity concepts were not taught when I started teaching grant writing and research opportunities were limited to those who could afford the large, thick foundation books published back then. NOW there's the Internet AND Viola! Research Heaven! I believe TXNP shows real concern for those who are attempting to make a difference by doing all they can to contribute information and support through their Web site. - Jo Laney, Literacy for America |
