Graham Weston -
Executive Chairman - Rackspace Managed Hosting - San Antonio
A native Texan and a graduate of Texas A & M University, Graham
Weston's major business achievements center on his ability
to recognize opportunities in the market, act quickly and
execute over the long term to build successful enterprises.
This philosophy contributed to his success with Rackspace
Managed Hosting, one of San Antonio's biggest technology success
stories, as well as Assessment Technologies, the property-tax
protest company he formed in 1986 while still in college.
His ventures include the Weston Centre, the 30-story office
building in the heart of downtown and still San Antonio's
tallest office high-rise, and other industrial properties.
Under his leadership as CEO, Rackspace grew from 10 employees in 1999 to 360
today. With annualized revenues of more than $70 million, the company is now
one of the largest managed hosting companies in the world, with more than
9,000 Web servers under management in its seven data centers including those
in Texas, D.C. and the U.K.
Graham Weston brings a similar energy and focus to his community
involvement. His deep interest in providing opportunity for
children and young people is reflected in his involvement
over the years with many San Antonio organizations, such as
the Westside Community Center and KLRN. He also has a strong
commitment to the Children's Museum and Upstarts in nearby
New Braunfels, where he has lived since his teenage years.
He serves on the Board of Regents of Texas Lutheran University.
