St. Pius X High School Offers New Transportation Services forBellaire/West U & Cypress/Tomball Areas
St. Pius X High School

May, 2017

Beginning in August 2017, St. Pius X High School will offer transportation services for students living the Bellaire/West U and Cypress/Tomball areas and surrounding communities.

The transportation services begin with the 2017-2018 school year, but students must reserve their seat online by June 1, 2017. Online reservations can be made at stpiusx.org/transportation.

“Our students in grades 9-12 come from more than 127 zip codes in the greater Houston area,” said Carmen Garrett Armistead, Head of School. “We hope our new transportation services will ease the commute and make our school more accessible for students in the southwest and northwest.”

St. Pius X will offer morning pick-up and after school or evening drop-off via two routes. The Orange Line services the Bellaire/West U area, while the Black Line services the Cypress/Tomball area. There are two pick-up/drop-off locations on each route. SPX also offers two after-school departure times to accommodate those students involved in after school clubs or sports.

The rate for transportation services for the school year is $1,000 per student, fully paid at the time of the reservation. Based on interest, SPX will acquire a fleet and employ a transportation staff.
