Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Funding Opportunity
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

May, 2015

RWJF's commitment to reversing the childhood obesity epidemic has provided national leadership in efforts to achieve a healthy weight for all of our nation’s children, especially in lower-income communities and communities of color. This landmark work continues today as part of its vision to build a national Culture of Health that will enable all Americans to live longer and healthier lives, now and for generations to come.

The Foundation has issued a call for proposals for two types of awards aimed at providing advocates, decision-makers, and policymakers with opportune research and evidence to guide policy action in order to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic.

Round 9 grants
Each grant will award up to $190,000 for a maximum funding period of 18 months. Approximately $2.55 million will be awarded.
Deadline for concept papers: June 24, 2015 and August 12, 2015 (both by 3 p.m. ET).
