Pro Bono Consulting Opportunity

The Industrial/Organizational Psychology Program at St. Mary’s University is seeking nonprofit organizations to participate in its Organizational Survey Development course for Summer 2014. The course is taught by Dr. Dorinda Rolle and requires students to conduct a professional organizational survey as a part of their learning experience. The survey must be related to a specific real issue within the organization. Typical survey topics include employee satisfaction, organizational climate, employee engagement, organizational communication, etc., but may include client or stakeholder related surveys. These surveys can be beneficial in diagnosing problems in the organization, or may help to identify potential issues of importance before they occur.

“People buy into the leader before they buy into the vision.”
—John Maxwell

We believe leaders are made, not born. With that assumption, the San Antonio Area Foundation partnered with Graduate School of Business and Leadership at Our Lady of the Lake University to create an advanced Leadership Academy specifically geared to nonprofit CEOs, Executive Directors and their senior management staff. This intensive, four-day training program will help executives master the skills necessary to lead their organizations to the next level in achieving their mission.
