The quarterly sessions will be held:

March 19 - Effective Governance
June 18 - Legal Compliance
September 17 - Financial Oversight
December 17 - Responsible Fundraising

For a limited time offer: Register today for all four series for a discounted rate of $199.00. That's 17% off full workshop price. Deadline to purchase is March 19, 2014.

Impact San Antonio is pleased to announce the grant application process for 2014. We invite nonprofit agencies seeking funding for a new program or an expansion of an existing program to apply in one of our five focus areas: Arts & Culture; Education; Environment, Recreation, & Preservation; Family; and Health & Wellness to apply. We will be accepting applications beginning March 1st and the submission deadline is March 31st at 5:00 pm. Nonprofits will be able to login and view the application beginning February 26th.

News you can use

Advanced Digital Video students have to do a project for a Northwest Vista College department or a non-profit, community-based, service organization {501 (C)(3)} as a final project. They have slots for about six to ten projects this semester.

Email any proposals you may have. Some things to remember…

  • General length of these videos should be 3-5 minutes.
  • These are 2ndsemester video students – so keep proposals sensible.
  • I only have these students 4½ hours per week.
  • Since these are student projects, some projects don’t get finished because of student withdrawals. This doesn’t happen often but it has happened in the past.
  • The students will need to finish these projects by May 8, 2014.So, if the project cannot be finished by then, it is best we do not try to do it. Because once the students are gone after the end of the semester, they are gone.
  • Student groups pick the project they want to work on.
  • You will need to be an active client. Which means meeting with the students, helping to arrange interviews (if needed), and helping with writing the script. Most of these students have not had Screenwriting yet.
  • If you cannot be an active client please do not propose a project.

If you had sent a proposal in a previous semester and the need still exists, please send the proposal again.
