March 1, Parents of Young Children are invited to hear Karen Capo from the Rice Literacy Project discussing Raising Lifelong Readers: The Critical Role of the Early Childhood Years.  6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Reservations to St. Luke's Day School at 713-402-5030. Cost is $5 per person.        

  

March 4, Coping With Divorce is a workshop hosted by Nick Finnegan Counseling Center, and  led by therapist Dr. Kelton Ro-Trock, LMFT, LPC.  It begins Sunday at 9:45 a.m. To sign up or for more details, call 713-402-5046.        

 

March 4, Jr. High Momentum, 6-8 graders will meet in the Youth Loft on the second floor at 5:30 p.m. and go to Sky High Jump for trampoline jumping. We will be back at 8:30 p.m. Cost is $20. Contact Val Dagher at 832-566-5155.   

      

March 6, United Methodist Women's Spiritual Growth service, All women of St. Luke's and their guests are invited to a service led by Reverend Susan Wiley, Associate Minister at Memorial Drive UMC.

   

March 8, United Methodist Women's Night Circle will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the home of Adria Baker. The program will be Pursuing Godliness Through Contentment led by Ross Baker. Contact Pat Deckert at 713-334-6848.   

 

March 10, Singles Service Project stuffing Easter eggs for Easter at the Park and the Palm Sunday egg hunts at the Gethsemane and Westheimer campuses. Meet in R23 at 9 a.m. For information, contact Susan Silvus.  

 

March 10, Mainstreamers will attend AD Players production of Whatever Happened to the Villa Real? written by Jeannette Clift George. 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Lunch at Corner Bakery before the matinee performance. Reservations due now, call Kathy Neely, 713-420-5139.

  

March 11,  Little Leprechauns Playdate for 2 and 3 year old Sunday School children and their families will gather on the playground at 10:45 a.m.  for lunch, activities and four-leaf-clover fun. Cost is $5 per person ($20 family maximum). RSVP by March 8 to Kim Davis at 713-402-5044.       

 

Lenten Concert Series   takes place every Thursday at noon in the Chapel (unless otherwise noted), through April 5. A complete schedule is available online.
